The arts and cultural sectors are dominated by project-type organisations and medium and long-term projects. Also the funding opportunities, at the different levels, are increasingly supporting medium and large-scale cooperation projects across different sectors to solve complex issues inside our society at large and the cultural sectors specifically. This activity intends to provide you with some conceptual tools to familiarize with the managerial dimension of project management at the different stages.
Chiara Carolina Donelli is a research Fellow at the Department of Management, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy. Chiara holds a PhD in Economics and Management of Innovation and Sustainability from the University of Parma (IT) & University of Ferrara, with focus on philanthropy and collaborative governance practice in the arts. She was a Visiting scholar at University of South Australia, Aldeiade. She combined academic with field work as consultant and project manager in several arts organisations. Her research interests include non-profit organizations, collaborative governance, leadership, philanthropy, performance management in non-profit organizations, cultural sector and performing arts organizations.
