People are a key asset to achieve innovative and effective solutions, and managing people effectively allows to attract talents, motivate, and engage employees, with the aim of creating value for the organization. Today, we will learn the basics of the main human resource management practices.
Laura Cortellazzo is Assistant Professor of Business Organization and Human Resource Management at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy). She is member of the Ca’ Foscari Competency Centre, research centre aimed to improve individuals’ performance and employability through the development of behavioral competencies. Her research focuses on the fields of Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Leadership and Career. Her research work has been published in various international journals, including Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Small Business Management, Frontiers in Psychology.
